Happy Birthday Joy 2010

Saw my birthday blog post from last year. Many sentiments have remained the same. Except that the sense of self has grown. I no longer have anything to prove. And that is awesome. I am happy with myself, with all that I am, all that I have done and all that I will be. Birthdays are such beautiful occasions. It gives you a chance to pause and meditate on all that have come to pass. Everyday, we get ‘caught up’ in the never-ending busy-ness of life and birthdays give you the chance to breath a little, to think a little, to shed a little tear and to smile a little at all the could have, would have, should have and had.

I honestly do feel deeply blessed and greatly loved. I now own the most beautiful SensUal Joy studio ever. This is my greatest pride to date. And it came in time for my birthday this year. My family has surprised me with their explicit love and support. I feel touched and honoured by it. I went back to modeling and pushed the envelope with boudoir photography and have grown so much as a person because of it. I have also passed my first year literature exam with the University of London. That squashed two years of angst and self doubt at my literary abilities. LOL.

What more could I ask for in life?

Nothing.

Just the desire to strive further. Not to prove anything, but to make a difference in my own way.
